HR Business Partner CEE

Your mission
We are looking for an HR Business Partner with an agile mindset to support our colleagues in the CEE region, while partnering closely with the local Management team.
This is an exciting opportunity to act as a trusted HR advisor for our Eastern European entities, contributing to a wide range of HR projects and people-related initiatives, supporting the development of business objectives and workforce planning. The role reports directly to the Global Head of HR, in Hamburg.
Your profile

Main tasks:

  • Recruitment: 
  • Contact and select recruitment partners, manage contracts, and engage in successful collaboration with chosen partners.
  • Place job posts online and company’s internal tool.
  • Pre-select candidate profiles.
  • Conduct telephone/video interviews and f2f interviews.
  • Follow up and give feedback.
  • Monitor and accompany onboarding/ offboarding according to standard process
  • Support outsourced payroll process with all relevant information and documents
  • Monitor and accompany annual performance review talks, if requested more frequently (implement, maintain and enhance processes)
  • Personnel development (e.g. organize & conduct trainings, offer learning opportunities) 
  • Support and counsel leaders in their leadership duties, participate in regular meetings with Heads
  • Manage annual Budget and quarterly Forecast preparation
  • Conduct layoffs/ termination if needed and conduct exit interviews
  • Close cooperation with internal (e.g. Finance, Heads & Team leads) as well as external partners (e.g. lawyers, payroll providers)
  • Regular interaction with the international HR Team (e.g. participation in meetings, take over project work)
  • Follow up on changes regarding employment law and payroll in all 5 countries
  • Participation in team building events 
  • Limited travel on demand
  • HR Administration:
  • Keep Personio updated at any time
  • Keep personnel files up to date and complete
  • Prepare contracts and additional agreements, (internal employees and HR related vendors) if necessary, with help of external lawyers
  • Prepare job descriptions and any additional documents in local languages and in English
  • Support outsourced payroll process with all relevant information and documents

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience as HR generalist incl. recruiting, preferably in an international environment
  • Hands on, pro-active, self-motivated, self-organized
  • Assertive, open to change 
  • Strong relationship building competencies
  • Business fluent in Hungarian and English
  • Ideally experience with the HR tool ‘Personio’
  • Very good MS Office skills  
Starting date: Spring 2026.
1-year fixed term contract with possible extension
Flexible working hours can be discussed (35-40)
