Your profile
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Design, build and maintain advanced Android and iOS applications
- Ensure clean architecture, maintainability and scalability
- Oversee API integrations (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets or similar)
- Optimize performance, memory usage and application stability
- Ensure compliance with security and platform best practices
DevOps & Delivery Performance
- Improve deployment frequency and reduce batch size in mobile releases
- Reduce lead time from development to production
- Minimize change failure rate through quality and automation
- Improve incident response and recovery (MTTR) through better observability and release discipline
- Drive CI/CD adoption and test automation within the mobile domain
- Contribute to release predictability and production reliability
Team Leadership & Culture
- Mentor and support mobile engineers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards
- Foster ownership mentality and production accountability
- Create a psychologically safe, performance-oriented team environment
- Encourage experimentation, learning and continuous improvement
Collaboration & Alignment
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers for optimal user experience
- Work closely with backend and DevOps teams for integration quality
- Participate in architecture discussions impacting the mobile domain
- Align mobile engineering practices with broader platform and DevOps strategy
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Android and/or iOS development
- 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership role
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and/or Java (Android)
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns and clean code principles
- Experience integrating distributed backend systems
- Practical understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and DORA metrics
- Strong systems-thinking mindset and performance orientation
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
